An awesome display of pottery that doubles as a fundraiser to support St Columba’s significant community work, the most visible of which is our Friday Community Lunch which we’ve provided since 2017, currently for 65-75 regulars from the neighbourhood. This year, Clay Works features 49 potters from Tāmaki Makaurau and beyond. Clay Works attracts hundreds of visitors – buyers, potters, would-be potters, and browsers – from all over Aotearoa New Zealand, and is a ‘go-to’ destination on Auckland’s art calendar. The timing is perfect for finding that special gift for the mums in your life, for Mothers Day. There is a huge variety of pottery, in every way, including price-wise, so there’s something for everyone. There’s a secure playground to keep your littlies happy while you browse. On Saturday, there will be bbqed sausages, and plants, relishes, jams and chutneys for sale outside the hall.
